What file formats are supported?
PLC Company supports Allen-Bradley L5X (Studio 5000 export), ACD (native Studio 5000), RSS (RSLogix 500), and MER (FactoryTalk View ME) files. This covers ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix, SLC 500, MicroLogix controllers, and PanelView Plus HMI terminals. MER files show HMI screen layouts, display text, and tag references -- PLC logic analysis is available for L5X, ACD, and RSS files.
How does per-file billing work?
Each uploaded file counts as one unit on your subscription. When you upload a new file, your subscription quantity increases and the new rate applies on your next billing cycle. When you delete a file, your quantity decreases accordingly. If your subscription lapses, you have 30 days to download your original uploaded files. Viewing, analysis, and AI chat require an active subscription.
Can I cancel anytime?
Monthly plans can be canceled at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are billed upfront for the year.
What happens if my payment fails?
You have 30 days to download your original uploaded files, but access to the viewer, analysis, and AI chat is paused until payment is resolved. After 30 days, files may be removed. We will send reminders to help you update your payment method.
I have multiple L5X files from the same project. How is that billed?
Each uploaded file is billed as one unit. If you have multiple program-level L5X exports from the same project, we recommend exporting the full controller instead. In Studio 5000, right-click the Controller in the project tree and select Export to create a single L5X file containing all programs, routines, tags, and modules. This gives you the complete project in one file for one charge. ACD files also contain the full project.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Files are stored on encrypted infrastructure. PLC programs are only accessible by the account that uploaded them. We do not share or use your data for any purpose other than providing the analysis service.
